About Firdaws Academy
Firdaws Academy was established by Ulama in Melbourne, Australia in 2016. It takes it’s name from the following hadeeth, in which we are encouraged to aim and strive for the highest and best of Paradise. Our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “Paradise has one hundred grades, each of which is as big as the distance between heaven and earth. The highest of them is Firdaws and the best of them is Firdaws. The 'Arsh (Throne) is above Firdaws and from it spring forth the rivers of Paradise. If you ask of Allah, ask Him for Firdaws.” [Sunan Ibn Majah]
The first step to practice is a sincere intention and knowledge of the action. FA endeavours to facilitate this by disseminating knowledge locally on-site of:
- 1.Quran reading with Tajweed,
- 2.Arabic Language &
- 3.Islamic Sciences (Aqeedah, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Tafseer, and Hadith)
The Prophetic Ideal is to spread knowledge face to face and heart to heart. Although, many online resources are a good alternative when there are no local resources available. However, the alternative is not a replacement for the actual. Firdaws Academy aims to establish the original methods, so people may be connected to local qualified scholarship.
